Movie #151 - Dark Shadows

I was actually extremely impressed with this movie. I think they advertised it horribly. When I saw the trailer for this I seriously thought this looked like the most stupid movie ever. It just goes to show how phenomenal acting can make even the stupidest of movies amazing. As weird as it was, it kept my interest the whole way through. Johnny Depp was fantastic, as usual. 

Movie #150 - Battleship

OK. When I first saw the trailer for this I wasn’t interested in seeing it. The only reason I went was because of Liam Neeson. The movie was actually a lot better than I thought it was gonna be. Definitely not oscar worthy by any means but it was enjoyable. The only thing that pissed me off is that I hate when movies cast a so called “hot” actor just because of that one fact, totally disregarding the more important fact that they can’t act for shit. *cough* Brooklyn Decker *cough*. 

Movie #149 - Coming & Going

This movie was hilarious! I really loved it besides the fact that Lee was annoying the hell out of me. He kept making everything so much worse when all he had to do was tell her about the misunderstanding after the second time they hung out. Regardless, it was still hilarious to watch unfold. The whale dude was killing me. Sasha Alexander was awesome in this. I’d definitely rec. 

Movie #148 - 28 Days Later

I had already seen the second movie previously but I never got around to watching this one. needless to say I loved it. I haven’t seen the second one in a while so I can’t really say which one I thought was better. I really hope they go through with making 28 months later. 

Movie #147 - The Fifth Element

This was a really cool movie. Made me want a flying car. Ruby Rhod was killing me. His voice, lmao. so funny. 

Movie #146 - Under the Tuscan Sun

I loved this movie. As awesome as it was though, I kept getting pissed off because I was really craving chocolate and I didn’t have any and then these bitches are eating brownies, then chocolate cake 5 minutes later, then ice cream and I’m just like OMG ENOUGH ALREADY. I loved that Yang was in this, started flaling a little when Addison sat down and kissed her I was just like “WHUUUUUT!” It was like watching an AU grey’s anatomy fic. 

Movie #145 - Alien

This movie was so fucking awesome. I don’t know why I’ve never seen these. Had a mini fangirl moment when I saw Bilbo and Cassandra Spender. 

Movie #143 - Tick Tock

Pretty cool short. I was a little lost at first but then I found my way back towards the middle. lol. 

Movie #142 - A League of Their Own

I really loved this movie. I had no idea so many people were in it. When I saw Rosie and Madonna I was just like “WHAT THE HELL?!” Geena Davis was really pretty in this too. 

Movie #141 - Love & Other Drugs

I really enjoyed this movie. I honestly only wanted to watch because I heard there was an xf nod in the beginning but I ended up liking it. They actually showed the tv twice, once showing Gillian’s name in the credits and then if you were looking really closely you’d see the newspaper with the monkey baby on it from the beginning of Quagmire. When I saw that one frame and already knew what ep it was I kind of questioned my sanity just a little bit. But its all good. 

Movie #140 - Portal: No Escape

Based on the game. Pretty cool. 

Movie #139 - Munich

I really didn’t care for this movie. I don’t even know what the story line is and I just watched it. I was too confusing. All the bombs kept me amused though. The dudes arm hanging from the ceiling fan was pretty awesome. Still shouldn’t have been almost 3 hours long though in my opinion. 

Movie #138 - The Invention of Lying

This movie was pretty funny, the concept behind it was just hilarious. Getting to see people act in ways they never would in RL and say things they normally never would was really funny. I seriously wish I could go to the bank and ask for 800 bucks and for them to be like “oh, well our system says that you only have 300 in your account… the system has to be wrong, let me go get you your money.” Like what the fuck? lmao if only! And don’t even get me started on when he invented “the guy in the sky” omg I was dying. 

Movie #137 - The Perfect Storm

*contains spoilers*

I liked this movie. It was just really stressing to watch. I had heard about it before but I never realized how many people were in it. George Clooney, Diane Lane, Mark Wahlberg… Also Padgett and this lady from Roadrunners. I don’t know how people could be fishermen. Just watching them on the boat before and during the storm was getting me sick. I would have died. I hate boats. I wasn’t expecting them all to die in the end either, I thought at least some of them would have lived. But then again I didn’t know this was based on a true story till after I saw it. 

Movie #136 - The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King

I’m really sad that I finished these movies. Now I wanna go rewatch them. I loved this to death. Now I’m dying for December. Sam is still my favorite character and he had me tearing up at the end. I want a hobbit. lol.
